When I log in with my registered account I get the following error message:
Your account is authorized for the wrath of the lich king exspansion, but the computer you are playing on does not contain wrath of the lich king data. to play with this account you must install wrath of the lich king. additional data is available.
I'm fully patched, but I never bought wotlk. what do i need to do to fix this?

you must set your account tbc that means you had to do that on registration which cant be done anymore i can change it trough ingame but will need your account name.

Download WOTLK, thats the best thing to do, otherwise you will be limited. If you need a link for a working wotlk installment just ask

you need wotlk.. unless you want to downgrade to tbc and miss out on alot of stuff..
